Projects Over the years Isaac H.Grainger & Son Ltd have been involved in the development and production of numerous projects based on our engineering expertise and knowledge of the Tube Fitting industry. This has included the manipulation, threading and welding of tubular components, and has included special applications not necessarily associated the traditional use of threads. These have included using the thread to spread ink and to increase the external surface of the tube to improve heat conductivity. Our development of thread rolling on thin wall tube has enabled us to produce nipples for the electrical industry, whilst we regularly supply nipples for the manufacture of Drain Test Plugs and Extended Cistern Handles.
